Update v0.4.8 - Major balance changes


Hello everyone! The new update is here!

▌Major Changes

  • Reduce base magic resistance 25% => 11% (5 => 2)
  • Remove blur effect on Fog of War when in low resolution
  • Major balance changes to heroes
  • Major balance changes to items
  • Reduce required experiences up to level 10
  • Make maximum movement speed 130 => 135
  • Fixed a bug when Vampiric Rod did not heal the owner.
  • AP Damage to towers increased 50% => 75%

▌Heroes

Kumihu

Kumihu will now have slightly worse wave clear and K damage now deals much higher damage when hit the target twice.

Base magic resistance 25% => 11%

Magical Orb (K)

  • Base damage 60 => 50
  • Cooldown 7s => 7.5s
  • Damage modifier 64% => 65%
  • Bonus damage on Magical Orb 2nd hit 35% => 45%
  • Tier 2 talent - Blind duration 3.5s => 5s

Charm (L)

  • Duration 0.8s => 1s
  • Base damage 90 => 85
  • AP Damage modifier 100% => 110%
  • Tier 2 talent - Damage is now reduced by 30% per every hit

Sparrow

Sparrow will have much faster gameplay now, overall this is a strong buff. It will make her more DPS oriented than tanky.

  • Base magic resistance 25% => 11%
  • Attack / Cast animation decreased by ~20%
  • Base health 575 => 550
  • Base attack speed 1.1 => 1.15
  • Damage per level 2 => 2.5
  • Attack speed per level 0.01 => 0.02
  • Health per level 28 => 25
  • Base health regen 2 => 1

Attack (J)

  • Enhanced Attack: Knockback duration 0.2 => 0.25
  • Enhanced Attack: Distance 95 => 100 (Speed is adjusted too)

Demonic Wrath (L)

  • Projectile speed 310 => 320
  • T2 Talent - Bonus damage 5% => 6%
  • Percent damage based on missing health 12% => 14%

  Belle

Belle was very strong last patch, this will make her slightly weaker due to armor reduction, but cast animation and reduction of base MR will be huge buff

  • Base magic resistance 25% => 11%
  • Base armor 2 => 1
  • Improve Attack and Cast animation by ~12%

Prickly Vine (K)

  • Stun Duration 1.2s => 1s

Floral Ambush (L)

  • Damage per level reduced 1.5 => 1
  • Base damage reduced 45 => 40
  • AP Modifier 55% => 60%

I'Ceat

I'Ceat was one of the strongest AP heroes last patch. These changes are significant nerfs to his one shot kit, but improve his CC.

  • Base magic resistance 25% => 11%
  • Base health 525 => 520

Attack (J)

  • Tier 1 Talent - Attack slow duration 1s => 1.25s
  • Tier 1 Talent - Attack speed reduction 30% => 40%
  • Tier 1 talent - Movement speed reduction 9 => 12

Icicle Bolt (K)

  • Base damage 50 => 42
  • Damage per level 2 => 1.5
  • AP Damage modifier 60% => 66%
  • Slow duration 3s => 2s
  • Slow effectivity 12ms => 20ms
    • Reworked T2 Talent - No longer increase icicle bolt count by 1
    • New talent - Increase freeze duration by 0.8s

Cold Embrace (L)

  • Base Damage 45 => 40
  • Damage per level 2 => 1
  • Bonus movement speed when active 40 => 30
  • Tier 1 Talent - Additional bonus movement speed 15 => 20

  • Base Health 560 => 550

  • T1 Talent - Reduce cooldown of Shuriken Toss by 1.5s => 2s
  • Damage modifier 20% => 25%

Shadow Carrot (L)

  • Jump slow 35ms => 45ms
  • Tier 1 talent - Bonus damage 35 => 40

 Veil

  • Base magic resistance 25% => 11%
  • Improve cast time by 12%

  • Enhanced attack base damage: 12 => 8
  • AP Modifier 60% => 70%

Astral Blades (K)

  • Base damage 60 => 55
  • AP Modifier 90% => 100%

Astral Step (L)

  • Slow 25ms => 30ms
  • Tier 1 talent - Increase slow duration 0.75s => 1s

  Flin

  • Base magic resistance 25% => 11%
  • Improve attack time by 12%
  • Base attack speed 1.15 => 1.2
  • Attack speed per level 2% => 3%

 Kira

  • Base magic resistance 25% => 11%
  • Base health 520 => 510
  • Improve attack animation by 12%

Attack (J)

  • Enhanced attack no longer target enemies that are not visible (Invisible, Hidden in FoW or Bushes)
  • Enhanced Attack - Healing reduced to 70% to 60%
  • Enhanced Attack - Base damage 40 => 30
  • Enhanced Attack - Damage modifier 50% => 60%

Rain of Sparks (K)

  • Base Damage 20 => 18
  • AP Damage modifier 20% => 23%

Void Phantasm (L)

  • Base Damage 110 => 100
  • Damage per level 8 => 6
  • AP Damage modifier 200% => 225%

 Hazel

This change makes her do less damage when playing a full tank build, but also makes her able to run AD or Hybrid builds.

  • Base magic resistance 25% => 15% (The only hero with higher base MR)
  • Base health 570 => 580

Triumphant Upheaval (K)

  • Damage based on current health 14% => 12%

Justice's Wrath (L)

  • Damage modifier 140% => 155%
  • Base damage 15 => 5

Arel

  • Base magic resistance 25% => 11%
  • Base attack speed 1 => 1.05
  • Improve attack animation by 15%

Attack (J)

  • Enhanced: Second attack damage increased from 50% => 60%
  • Tier 1 talent - Bonus attack range 5 => 6

Ticking Bomb (L)

  • Trigger damage modifier 105% => 110%
  • Tier 1 talent - Bonus Ticking bomb damage 25% => 30%

Alvar

  • Base magic resistance 25% => 11%
  • Base attack speed 1 => 1.1
  • Base health 555 => 560
  • Improve cast animation by 20%

Furious Kick (K)

  • Now procs an additional AoE Buff even if does not hit an enemy
  • Bonus movement speed 8 => 10
  • Stun duration 0.5s => 0.6s
  • T2 Talent - Bonus stun duration 0.6s => 0.8s

Heavenly Kick (L)

  • Damage modifier 125% => 110%
  • Slow effectivity 35ms => 45ms
  • Slow duration 500 => 800

 Foxy

  • Base magic resistance 25% => 11%
  • Base attack speed 1.05 => 1.1
  • Damage per level 2.5 => 3
  • Improve attack animation by 15%

 Magdalene

Magdalene's Swarm of Ghosts will be weaker if she builds full tank. Now she will need a little bit of AP to deal more damage

  • Base magic resistance 25% => 11%
  • Improve cast animation by 15%
  • Base armor 2 -> 1

Scream of Pain (K)

  • Base damage 90 => 80
  • AP Modifier 100% => 110%

Swarm of Ghosts (L)

  • Base damage 60 => 45
  • Damage per level 2 => 1
  • Damage AP modifier 60% => 70%

▌Items

All items have reduced ability power by roughly 25%

 Shadow Slayer

  • Shadow slayer now deals 2% Pure damage on every hit
  • Shadow slayer passive no longer deals 6% pure damage on trigger
  • Cooldown 24s => 25s
  • Ability Haste 2 => 0
  • Damage 15 => 12
  • Attack speed 15% => 20%

Cold Sword

  • Now applies 4 movement speed slow per stack 
  • Attack Speed: 15% => 0%
  • Armor: 0 => 2

Spike Shield

  • Reworked to Active
  • When activated, returns 100% of all damage taken for 2 seconds. Cooldown - 40sec

Divine Shield

  • Now is in a Magical Shield tree
  • Now provides 5 Magic resistance instead of armor
  • ACTIVE: Bonus health regen 15 => 25
  • Cost: 400 => 450
  • Max Health: 110 => 100
  • Ability Haste: 3 => 2

 Berserker Ring

  • Bonus attack speed per stack 6% => 8%
  • Max Health: 100 => 110
  • Attack Speed: 30% => 25%

 Iron Rod 

  • PASSIVE: Base damage 10 => 15
  • Attack Damage: 10 => 12

Orchid of Malevolence

  • PASSIVE: Base damage 10 => 15
  • Attack Damage: 15 => 14
  • Attack Speed: 25% => 30%

 Magic Harpoon

  • PASSIVE: AP Modifier 40% => 50%

 Corrupted Longbow

  • ACTIVE: Bonus movement speed 10 => 12
  • Attack Speed: 25% => 30%
  • Attack Damage: 15 => 12

 Plate Shield

  • ACTIVE: Slow movement 30 => 40

 Garun's Defender

  • PASSIVE: Radius 65 => 75
  • Armor 4 => 5
  • Health 100 => 90

Burning Rod

  • PASSIVE: Damage rescaled 3.5% => 3%
  • PASSIVE: Duration 2sec to 2.4sec
  • Cost: 550 => 500
  • Max Health: 70 => 75

 Titan's Armor

  • ACTIVE: Health Regeneration 90 => 100
  • Health 180 => 200

 Void Armor

  • ACTIVE: Bonus damage 15 => 20

 Shield of Defiance

  • PASSIVE: Bonus health regen 4 => 3

Kirin's Bow 

  • NEW PASSIVE: Now apply poison bow stacks on attack
  • NEW PASSIVE: Now apply Kirins bow Stacks on Attack. When hit target 3 times, it will trigger a poison nova, that will deal 30 damage to all nearby enemies and apply 5 stacks of poison to all nearby enemies. (Can't be triggered on minion)
  • Attack speed: 25% => 35%
  • Ability Power and Ability Haste removed
  • Damage: 6
  • Max Health: 50

 Divine Ring

  • PASSIVE: Reduce healing amp 40% => 35%
  • NEW ACTIVE: Now has Corrupted ring's active (Dash)
  • Ability power 15
  • Ability Haste 4
  • Health 70

Demon Sabre

  • Cost: 475 => 500
  • PASSIVE: Now reduces 1.8 flat armor per stacks (up to 5.4 or 3 stacks)
  • Damage 25 => 22

 Demonic Ring

  • PASSIVE: Reduce armor by 30%
  • PASSIVE: Demon ring stack damage 0.8 => 0.6 (16 => 12)

 Magical Bow

  • PASSIVE: Bonus movement speed 10 => 12
  • Movement Speed: 0 => 3
  • Ability Haste: 3 => 0

 Corrupted Light Slayer

  • PASSIVE AURA: Bonus lifesteal 8% => 12%
  • PASSIVE AURA: Damage 7 => 8
  • Lifesteal 8% => 12%

 Plague Ring

  • PASSIVE: Increase duration of all negative effects by 25% => 30%
  • Health Regeneration: 2 => 3

 Hunter's Bow

  • PASSIVE AURA: Attack speed bonus 25% => 30%

 Potion of Magic

  • CONSUME: Ability power +9 => +7

 Nimble Longbow

  • Cost: 550 => 500
  • PASSIVE: Bonus projectile range 6 => 8  & Speed 20% => 35%

 Wizard Charm

  • PASSIVE: Reduce MR and duration of positive effects 25% => 30%
  • Cost: 550 => 500

Corrupted Ring

  • REWORKED: Now has passive, AP alternative to Nimble Longbow. Provide additional 8 range to projects and 35% speed 
  • Cost: 460 => 475
  • Max Health: 0 => 60

Chest of Malevolence

  • Health 180 => 200
  • Duration: 2.5s => 3s
  • Fixed a bug when the passive did not reduce movement speed
