Update - V0.5.5 - Balance Changes & BugFixes


Hello everyone! The new update is here!

Note: This is the last major balance change, after this, i want to settle the meta and just do very little adjustements if needed.

▌Major Changes

  • Fixed damage over time sometimes did less damage than it should, now has sub-ticks to deal exact damage in mid-ticks
  • Tower Attack - Stacks are no longer dispellable
  • 2nd cast no longer triggers item proc (Chronos Ring + Thomas L)
  • Fixed an issue when you could teleport into a texture (Kira's L and Thomas L)
  • Most Attack Damage  spells now triggers Hit Effect instead of Spell Effect
  • Fixed a bug with required mastery points for a Hero Frame
  • New CC Effect - Fear (Same as Charm, but runs in opposite direction)
  • All passive effects now have no inner cooldown and can proc on multiple units in a single tick including (Alvar, Arel, Flin, Thomas, Sparrow, Veil, Foxy)
  • Reworked Magdalene and talents of several heroes
  • Randomized teams (now you have randomly selected blue/red team) No longer decided by MMR
  • Fixed a bug when you didn't get ban when left queue

▌Heroes

 Kumihu

  • Fixed a bug with Level 10 Blind Talent. (It reduced 25% of Vision instead of 50%)
  • Now it reduces 66%

  Belle

  • Prickly Vine (K) Now also triggers an item effect after the delay
  • Floral Ambush (L) Attaching a bomb no longer triggers an item effect, only an explosion
  • Fixed a bug when Plague Ring makes Prickly Vine attach duration longer
  • Prickly Vine Attach is no longer dispellable

  Flin

  • Precise Shot (K) - Now procs Attack Damage items

 Foxy

  • Fixed a bug when Incendiary Grenade did not apply DOT effect if the player had both level 6 talents
  • Grenade now applies both on Attack Hit and Spell Hit item effects
  • Increase Grenade pushback duration 0.4s => 0.6s
  • Level 10 Talent - Rapid Fire Damage 25% => 30%

 Kira (Reworked)

New Tier 1 Right Talent - Rain of Sparks apply 8ms slow per spark it hits (Max 64ms)

New Tier 2 Right Talent - Chain Lightning - Enhanced Attack now chain through another 2 targets (Can target also enemies). Apply Lightning Shock Effect and deal damage. Each jump is 25% less effective. This talent does not procure items on enemies.

Attack (J)

  • Enhanced Attacks no longer target enemies.
  • Now target the hero in the range with the lowest %health
  • Now heals for 100% value
  • Duration of a Lightning shock is increased from 1 sec to 1.5sec
  • Tier 1 Left talent - Increase duration of Lightning shock from 1sec => 1.5sec (3sec total)

Void Phantasm (L)

  • AP Modifier 200% => 225%
  • Base Damage 125 => 150
  • Damage per level 5 => 6
  • Silence Duration 3.5sec => 3Sec

 Hazel (Reworked)

  • Base Health 580 => 575
  • Health per level 32 => 30
  • New Tier 1 Left talent - Triumphant Upheaval heals for 60% of the damage done (Only to heroes)
  • New Tier 2 Right Talent -  Triumphant Upheaval Immunity - Hazel is Immune to all damage/CC during  Triumphant Upheaval. (Works the same way as Divine Sword)

Triumphant Upheaval (K)

  • Now deals damage based on Max health instead of current health
  • Changed damage modifier 14% => 11%
  • Now has AP Modifier 60%
  • Now deals damage over time
  • Pushback duration 0.5s => 0.75s

Heroic Slam (L)

  • Damage modifier 165% =>175%

 Thomas

  • Shuriken Toss (K) Now triggers on Attack hit Items (Triggered only by middle shuriken, reset on return)
  • Shadow Carrot Teleport (L) - Now triggers on Attack hit items. No longer trigger on spell hit when attached on enemy
  • New tier 2 left talent - Bleed - Now your attacks apply a bleed on the enemy, dealing 110% of Thomas's attack damage over 3 sec and reducing armor by 3. This effect can occur only once per 6sec

 Magdalene (Reworked)

Not sure how this hero will do in terms of DPS/Damage and survivability, we will see

  • New Tier 1 Left Talent - Haunted Ghosts now heals for 45% of damage dealt over time when return
  • New Tier 1 Right Talent - Haunted Ghosts now deals additional damage on impact (1 sec of DOT damage)
  • New Tier 2 Left Talent - Crippling (Haunted) Ghosts - Reduce movement speed by 16
  • New Tier 2 Right Talent - Purging Scream - Remove all positive dispellable effects from enemies (Can purge I'ceat L)

New Ability Haunted Ghosts (Replaced Swarm of Ghosts) (L)

  • Magdalene sends a haunted ghost in a direction, dealing 35+ (38% Ability Power) magical damage per second to enemies it passes through. The ghost lasts for 3 Seconds. When the haunted ghost debuff expires or is consumed by Scream of Pain, it returns back to Magdalene and resets the cooldown of Haunted Ghost.

Scream of Pain (K)

  • Now consumes a Haunted Ghost if the target is infected, causing additional damage and fear the target for a 1s
  • Base damage 100 => 80

▌Items

 Fridge Curse

  • Frigid Curse (Cold Sword, Frozen Ring, and Frozen Staff) now reduces all healing effects by 35% => 45%

 Corrupted Longbow

  • ACTIVE: No longer reduces armor & magic resistance, now silences the carrier for a duration
  • ACTIVE: Bonus attack speed 60% => 55%

 Corrupted Katana

  • Attack Damage: 22 => 23

 Nimble Longbow

  • Attack speed 50% => 60%
  • Critical replaced with Ability Power => 3
  • PASSIVE: Bonus projectile range 8 => 9

 Hunter's Bow (Reworked)

  • Attack Speed: 35%
  • Lifesteal: 15%
  • Critical strike chance: 15%
  • Passive: Attacking an enemy hero grants you a Hunter's Focus and increases movement speed by 12 for a duration of 2.5 Seconds.

 Berserker Bow
  • Critical strike chance replaced with Damage => 10
  • Max Health 80 => 75
  • Attack speed 35% => 30%
  • Passive: Now provides 6% => 9% Attack speed per stack up to 8 => 5 stacks. Duration 3s => 2.5s

 Enduring Shield

  • Health Regen 3 => 2

 Vampiric Shield

  • Cost: 600 => 550
  • Health 125 => 100
  • Health Regen 3 => 4

 Plate Shield

  • Armor 6 => 5

 Shield of Defiance

  • Cost 425 => 450
  • Now also provides 3 ability power

 Corrupted Ring

  • Max health 70 => 50
  • Ability power 12 => 15
  • PASSIVE: Increase range by 8px => 9px

 Berserker Ring (Reworked)

  • Attack speed replaced with health regen => 2
  • Cost 550 => 500
  • Max health 110 => 100
  • Passive: Now provide 1.5 Health regen per damage taken (Any source) up to 8 stacks (12 health regen)

 Iron Pendant 

  • All tier 3 charms now have an active effect. Place a ward with 180 sec cooldown

 Vampiric Rod

  • Ability Power 18 => 24
  • No longer provide Health regen or Health
  • Now is in a Wizard Staff tree
  • Passive: Spell Lifesteal 27% => 30%

 Kirin's Staff

  • Ability power 22 => 23

 Frozen Staff

Now it is an equivalent of AD Cold Sword

  • Ability power 24 => 16
  • Cost 550 => 500
  • Now provides maximum health 100
  • Now is in a Nature Rod tree

 Corrupted Light Slayer

  • PASSIVE AURA: Bonus lifesteal 12% => 16%
  • Attack speed 20% => 15%
  • Base lifesteal 12% => 14%

 Magic Harpoon

  • PASSIVE: AP Modifier 50% => 60%

 Iron Rod 

  • PASSIVE: AP Modifier 25% => 35%

 Orchid of Malevolence

  • PASSIVE: AP Modifier 25% => 35%

 Spike Shield

  • ACTIVE: Return damage increased 100% => 125%
  • Cooldown 45s => 55s

 Titan's Armor

  • ACTIVE: Immunity & Regeneration duration 1.5s => 2s
  • Health 200 => 220

 Divine Ring

  • PASSIVE: Reduce healing amp 35% => 30%

 Divine Staff

  • ACTIVE: Healing increased from 180 => 200

 Demonic Ring

  • PASSIVE: Reduce armor by 30% => 35%
  • PASSIVE: Demon ring stack damage 0.6 => 0.75 (12 => 15)

 Frost Ring

  • Active: Damage increased 80 => 100

Plate Armor

  • Passive: Healing and Regeneration amplification 30% => 35%
